This is a really cool wedding invite, originally posted on iDiY. I really love the simplicity of the design, yet the words speak and have energy and catch your attention. The story is also a nice one, documenting how they met. More and more I keep seeing designers creating their own cards, and more and more of them are entirely non-traditional. Who says a wedding invitation has to be a certain size, or printed on pearlized paper with embossed type? I’ve seen anything from hand-drawn invitations, to long signs like this one, to save-the-date postcards. An invite should reflect your style, and this certainly does. The groom designed it himself! See the full set here.
And no, I don’t have wedding on the brain, lol – sorry mom! My friend Heidi is getting married soon and she’s been showing me all these beautiful invites and save-the-dates and wedding gift bags. Almost makes you want to get married huh? ALMOST ;-)
